Casita

Welcome to our little house on the MASS MoCA campus. Casita serves Mexican cuisine inspired by our culinary training, travels abroad and traditional Mexican fare. Fresh, local and sustainable ingredients showcase the bounty of the Berkshires and the hard work of our local growers and farmers. At Casita, sustainability is at the heart of every decision we make. From thoughtfully sourcing our products and ingredients, to teaming up with Second Chance Composting- we’re dedicated to leaving a positive impact on both our plates and the planet.

Consider Casita, a meeting place, funky lunch spot and cocktail lounge all rolled into one. A love letter to North Adams, a vacation without the passport.

You may know us from Chingón Taco Truck- our pandemic passion project. Chingón was born out of a need for normalcy in a rapidly changing world. After more than a decade of working in fast paced, high energy restaurants the unexpected closure of our respective restaurants shook us to the core. Cooking for and hosting others has always been our love language and without it, a piece of us was missing. We launched Chingón as a way to keep our minds and hands busy. Never in our wildest dreams would we have imagined the outpouring of love and support we received from our community. Casita, our new venture- is a combination of 15 + years of restaurant experience, our travels, education and love for all things hospitality.

It is important to give credit where credit is due. Casita was built with the help of immigrants who came before us and the people whose food we have the honor to cook. Learning the history behind the food we are serving is equally as important as the flavor. We respect the cuisine by taking care in our practices, thoughtfully sourcing our ingredients and never cutting corners.

Community is the heartbeat of Casita. Giving back to our neighbors both near and far will always the center of our mission.

Thank you to all of you who make the dream work:
